CARLOS FERRAN MARTÍNEZ CARRILLO

In 2019, at the age of 31, Carlos Ferran Martinez founded Ferran Martínez Abogados as a Mexican boutique law firm specialized in all aspects of labor and employment law. Carlos had a vision to gather and lead a young, dynamic, dedicated and client-oriented team that helps national and international businesses, to achieve a proper soft landing in the Mexican jurisdiction, as well as to navigate through day-to-day matters related to employment and labor relationships.

Carlos specializes in Labor and Employment matters, primarily focused on consultancy, litigation labor restructures, compliance, and social security matters for multinational companies, as well as providing training sessions for clients in anti-corruption matters. He actively participates in the implementation of incentive programs, high-risk employment terminations, as well as conduction of complex collective negotiations with Unions.

Carlos Ferran Martínez graduated with honors in a record time of 3 years from Universidad Iberoamericana. He also holds a PhD and a Master’s Degree in Labor Law from Escuela Libre de Derecho.

Carlos is a Coordinator of the Labor Commission of the National Bar Association of Mexico, President of the National Compliance Commission and Member of the Labor Scientific Committee of Editorial Tirant Lo Blanch.

He is an Invited professor at various universities and a trainer for labor judges in the states of Querétaro, Guanajuato, State of Mexico, Campeche, Baja California, Hidalgo and Yucatán.

Additionally, he is an active writer in specialized magazines and legal publications such as El Economista and he also co-authored the works "Visions of the New Labor Law" and "Fundamental Labor Rights".

Carlos is recognized as Up and Coming Chambers and Partners/Next Generation Partner by The Legal 500.
