Carlos Ferran Martinez is Managing and Founding Partner at Ferran Martínez Abogados. He has devoted his entire legal practice to represent management into Labor and Employment matters, primarily focus in counseling multinational companies as it relates to consultancy, labor restructures, compliance, social security matters and as a constant speaker in training sessions for clients in anti-corruption matters. Mr. Ferran Martínez has recently implemented several incentive programs as well as high-risk employment terminations. He has also conducted complex collective negotiations with Unions. Mr. Ferran Martínez ended Law School in a record time of 3 years and as President of the Law School from Universidad Iberoamericana. He holds a Masters Degree in labor law from Escuela Libre de Derecho, while he colaborates constantly with media such as “El Financiero”, “El Economista” and “El Sol de México”. Moreover, he is a constant writer in specialized magazines and is also a professor at Universidad Iberoamericana and Universidad Panamericana. He is Committees’ Coordinator at the Mexican bar INCAM.

Ana Cecilia Gerson Anzola is a senior associate at Ferran Martinez Abogados. She is an expert in Mexican, international and compared Labor Law. She has broad experience in this field, both in the practice and in teaching and investigating. She is a lawyer from the Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), with honorable mention Summa cum laude (average career qualification: 19 points; average qualification of all Labor Law subjects: 20 points). She was a lawyer in the law firm Lares, Tejera & Negrón, Caracas. Former Legal Consultant, Deputy Minister of Labor and External Advisor of the Ministry of Labor, Caracas. Former teacher and researcher in Labor Law and Sociology of Law of the UCV. Intensive course of legal sociology at the Instituto Internacional de Sociología Jurídica de Oñati, Guipúzcoa, Spain. Master in Labor Law of the Escuela Libre de Derecho (ELD) in the process of obtaining the degree. Roberto Goldschmidt Award for the best law students.
